Day or night, there is buzzing urban energy here that welcomes everyone from artists to politicians to corporate professionals. It’s a neighborhood made for all who love the thriving, happening side of the District.
Logan Circle has a rich history at the center of Washington. The neighborhood was part of the original plan for DC, and after the Civil War, it became the home to many of the rich and powerful in the city. The late 20th century saw a revitalization of the 14th Street Corridor, which has led to Logan Circle’s resurgence as one of the most sought-after communities.
There is a mix of housing styles here, including luxury condos, townhouses, and sprawling single-family homes. Many of these large homes date back to the late 19th century and maintain the historic charm of the neighborhood’s early days, especially around the Logan Park traffic circle. With grand Victorian mansions flanking the curved street, it remains the city’s only residential traffic circle.
